Blessure Grave
Saturday, 01 May 2010 21:51

Blessure Grave invoke a chilling atmosphere remiscent of Joy Division with a lead male vocal very similar to that of Ian Curtis, but no matter how many times they are compared, their music offers a larger array of influences. What I like about them is that they are more listenable than more heavier industrial post punk and goth acts and don't make me immediately run to the stereo to turn it down wincing with grinding teeth. There is a softer more gentle side Blessure Grave which will make them a little more accessible to less-than hardcore followers of the goth, metal and industrial genres. Serena Maneesh fans would definitely enjoy listening...

Their new LP 'Judged by 12 carried by 6' is out on Release The Bats and Italian Beach Babes have a limited live cassette available of their 2009 New Years Eve show at The Stork Club in Oakland.

We've got two tracks from that cassette below, but go get the LP and cassette and play them loud til they break!
