Lets just get the obvious out the way, if Gallops aren't paying a serious homage to Battles on the track Miami Spider then they have some explaining to do. That said, this is the reason we are drawn into their craft. For us to feel that a track like what Gallops can put together to not be out of place on Mirrorred of EP B / EP C is no mean feat. So when we get that feeling about a band then we know we're onto a good thing.

There's just not many bands out there that can blend the intricacy of composition with actual melody to produce tracks like this. Albeit we're harping on about their comparison to Battles in this instance, they really do hold their own with their other material.
